Indian Navy's INS Tabar has successfully concluded a Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) with the Spanish Navy's Atalaya in the Mediterranean Sea. The exercise followed Tabar's two-day port call in Malaga, Spain, from August 25-27.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the exercise featured a series of advanced naval operations including Station Keeping, Replenishment at Sea Approaches (RASAPs), Flying Exercise (FYEX), and PHOTOEX serials. An Indian Navy spokesperson noted on social media platform X that INS Tabar's participation aimed to imbibe best practices and improve interoperability with the Spanish Navy.
