External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Friday unequivocally stated that India's era of uninterrupted dialogue with Pakistan has concluded. Speaking at the launch of Ambassador Rajiv Sikri's book, 'Strategic Conundrums: Reshaping India's Foreign Policy,' Jaishankar emphasized that 'actions have consequences,' particularly in the context of Jammu and Kashmir and the nullification of Article 370.

On Afghanistan, Jaishankar highlighted the strong people-to-people ties but stressed that India must adopt a clear-eyed approach in shaping its Afghan policy, especially in light of the changing geopolitical landscape marked by the withdrawal of American troops.

Discussing relationships with Bangladesh and Myanmar, Jaishankar underscored the importance of mutual interests and navigating political disruptions, while recognizing the critical regional context of Northeast India.
