Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in discussions on Tuesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, sharing insights from his recent visit to Ukraine. This followed Modi's conversation with US President Joe Biden, where the Prime Minister briefed Biden on his Ukraine visit and reiterated India's commitment to dialogue and diplomacy.

In his dialogue with Putin, Modi stressed India's dedication to an early and peaceful resolution of the conflict. The two leaders also deliberated on enhancing the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia.

"Spoke with President Putin today. Discussed measures to further strengthen Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership. Exchanged perspectives on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and my insights from the recent visit to Ukraine. Reiterated India's firm commitment to support an early, abiding, and peaceful resolution of the conflict," PM Modi shared on X. Meanwhile, Modi's call with Biden highlighted mutual appreciation for the India-US strategic partnership and reviewed the progress in bilateral relations.
