Tel Aviv [Israel], August 27 (ANI/TPS) — On Monday, Israel's Defence Minister Yoav Gallant addressed crucial strategic issues during an official visit by the US military's Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen Charles Brown. Key points of discussion included Israel's efforts to dismantle Hamas, secure hostages from Gaza, and stabilize its northern border with Lebanon for the safe return of evacuated communities.
Highlighting Iran's elevated aggression and pursuit of nuclear capabilities, Gallant stressed the importance of Israel and the United States being ready to thwart any nuclear ambitions. 'Iran's aggression has reached an all-time high - to counter this, we must work together to achieve and project groundbreaking capabilities in all arenas,' Gallant stated.
Gallant also praised Gen Brown for his leadership and steadfast support for Israel's security, reflected in both the deployment of US forces to the Middle East and the public endorsement of Israel's right to self-defense.
