At least four people were killed and 10 others injured in an explosion in Razmak bazaar in Pakistan's North Waziristan, ARY News reported. The district administration said the blast occurred when explosives placed on a motorcycle detonated. Four people died on the spot while the injured were taken to nearby hospitals, police officials confirmed.

Earlier, 38 people, including civilians and Levies personnel, were killed in gun attacks in Kalat, Musakhel, and Bolan districts of Balochistan. Eight people, including Balochistan Levies personnel, were killed in different incidents in Kalat district on Sunday night, according to ARY News.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kalat, Dostin Dashti, said the deceased included a police sub-inspector, four Levies personnel, and three civilians. Police stated that an exchange of fire between law enforcement and armed men continued on Kalat's national highway and city.

In another incident, Kalat Assistant Commissioner Aftab Ahmed and a Levies officer were injured during a gunfight at a checkpost. Unidentified gunmen opened fire, leading to an exchange with Levies personnel. The injured were taken to a nearby medical facility.

On August 24, a blast in Balochistan's Pishin district killed two children and a woman, while 13 others were injured, including two policemen, as reported by Dawn. The explosion occurred at the main market near Surkhab Chowk. The attacks have surged following the end of the ceasefire agreement between Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the government in 2022.

Wakeel Sherani, the medical superintendent at Pishin Civil Hospital, confirmed that the recent blast killed two children and initially injured 14 people. Most of the injured were referred to the Quetta Trauma Centre, where a woman later succumbed to her injuries. Five victims remain in serious condition, and two have been discharged.
