The Sindh Home Department has announced the suspension of cellular services in multiple districts, including Karachi, following a violent confrontation between two religious groups in Golimar, as reported by ARY News.

In a bid to enhance security during Chehlum processions for Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), cellular networks in areas such as Hyderabad, Dadu, Larkana, and others will be completely shut down. However, service will still be available in Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Mirpurkhas.

The incident occurred during an Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) rally when unidentified gunmen fired at the procession, leading to two fatalities and nine injuries. Intense police action followed to restore order, with victims being treated at various hospitals.
