Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored the urgency of resolving ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia through dialogue and diplomacy, during a press conference on Thursday with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Modi emphasized that battlefield solutions are not viable, and that the loss of innocent lives presents a significant humanitarian challenge.

"We support dialogue and diplomacy for the early restoration of peace and stability. For this, India is ready to provide all possible cooperation along with its friendly countries," Modi stated. He also noted Poland's upcoming EU presidency in January 2025, expressing confidence that this role would bolster India-EU relations due to Poland's rich cultural ties with India.

The Prime Minister highlighted ongoing bilateral initiatives, including a Social Security Agreement and enhanced cooperation in defense, technology, climate change, and urban infrastructure. Modi invited Polish companies to invest in India, especially in areas like Fintech, Pharma, and renewable energy, while thanking Poland for past assistance during the Ukraine conflict.
