At the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, Stephanie Grisham, the former White House press secretary under Donald Trump, delivered a fervent endorsement of US Vice President Kamala Harris. Grisham critiqued Trump for lacking empathy, morals, and fidelity to the truth, echoing sentiments shared with CNN.

The DNC's second night in Chicago, themed "A Bold Vision for America's Future," saw Grisham recalling her time with the Trump family. She revealed Trump mocked his supporters, labeling them "basement dwellers," and shared a poignant conversation with Melania Trump during the January 6 riots.

Grisham disclosed, "I asked Melania if we could at least Tweet that lawlessness and violence have no place, and she replied with one word: 'No.'" In a powerful endorsement of Harris, Grisham stated, "Kamala Harris respects the American people and tells the truth. She has my vote." The night also included remarks from notable figures such as Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, while Harris expressed gratitude to President Joe Biden for his leadership.
