Russian and Indian Officials Plan Future Cooperation at Key Economic Forums

Russian Presidential Advisor Anton Kobyakov recently held talks with Indian Ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar to bolster bilateral relations and international cooperation. TV BRICS reported that the discussions encompassed trade, energy, science, investment, tourism, and environmental protection, with an emphasis on promoting a sovereign multipolar world.
Ambassador Kumar highlighted the successful collaboration between the central banks of the two nations and the progress within the BRICS framework. Both parties discussed India's involvement in the upcoming BRICS summit in Kazan and the BRICS Business Forum in Moscow, slated for October 2024.
Kumar also mentioned India's plans to participate in the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) from September 3-6 in Vladivostok, where TV BRICS will serve as a media partner. An official Indian delegation, including government representatives, will attend, and a Russia-India business dialogue is planned to foster entrepreneurial connections.
Environmental cooperation was another focal point, with discussions on involvement in the International Forum "Falcon Day" during the EEF. The possibility of an Indian pavilion at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was also considered, according to TV BRICS.
Additionally, Kumar expressed interest in the Russian Tourism Forum "Let's Travel!", aiming to strengthen tourism and cultural relations between Russia and India.
