US President Joe Biden hosted Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Thursday amid ongoing ceasefire talks and the escalating Israel-Hamas war. The leaders also met with the families of American hostages, including the Siegel, Alexander, Dekel-Chen, Naftali, Neutra, Goldberg-Polin, and Chen families.

Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed his eagerness to collaborate with President Biden in the months ahead on crucial issues. He began his visit by meeting with the US President and signing the guestbook in the Roosevelt Room.

White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby emphasized the urgency of returning the hostages to their families. Netanyahu's US visit comes amid severe conflict in Gaza, significant Palestinian casualties, and substantial US criticism. On his visit, Netanyahu addressed Congress and met with Elon Musk to discuss AI and technological cooperation.
