Abu Dhabi, UAE — The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has unveiled a new edition of its Summer Program, offering Emirati students unique opportunities to study at 14 prestigious universities in 12 countries across four continents. The initiative is designed to upskill, prepare, and empower students.

A total of 181 top-performing Emirati students in grades 10 and 11 from public, private, and charter schools in Abu Dhabi have been selected from various ADEK enrichment programs such as Rize UPCG, Rize Honors, and Sports programs. They will explore educational pathways at globally-renowned institutions in the US, India, China, Singapore, and other nations.

The expansion includes four of the world's leading universities: Harvard, Stanford, University of California, Berkeley, and the National University of Singapore (NUS). According to Mubarak Hamad Al Mheiri, Under-Secretary of ADEK, the program's growth underscores their commitment to nurturing aspiring students beyond classroom boundaries, offering majors in diverse fields such as Creative Industries, Culinary Arts, and Wildlife Conservation.

ADEK aims to cultivate a global mindset among students, aiding in their academic and personal growth. The students will also have a better chance of being accepted into the Abu Dhabi Scholarships program. To ensure readiness, ADEK organizes comprehensive pre-departure orientation sessions, equipping students with the knowledge to navigate their international academic journeys and achieve success.
