Former Republican presidential candidate and Indian-origin Vivek Ramaswamy, speaking at the Republican National Convention, vowed to deport illegal immigrants back to their countries of origin. Ramaswamy emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law, citing the principles on which the United States was founded. His parents migrated to the U.S. from Kerala in the 1980s. Addressing Generation Z, he urged young Americans to embrace conservative values and contribute to national development.

Addressing black Americans, Ramaswamy countered media narratives, asserting that Republicans care about their communities. He promised safe neighborhoods, good jobs, and a just system if his party gains power. Ramaswamy also pledged to secure the southern border from day one and praised Donald Trump's potential to unite the country.

Meanwhile, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley endorsed Trump at the convention, criticizing the current administration's border policies. Haley attributed geopolitical stability during Trump's presidency to his strength, contrasting it with current leadership. She stressed unity within the Republican Party, remarking on the need to expand and welcome diverse backgrounds to ensure America's strength and security.
