In Rabat, Morocco, on July 14, the UAE Embassy and the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco hosted an international seminar titled 'Moroccan-Emirati Relations: A Prosperous Reality and Promising Prospects' to commemorate 52 years of diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Morocco.
The event began with speeches from Al Asri Saeed Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Morocco, Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the UAE Fatwa Council and Head of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace, and Abdeljalil Lahjomri, Permanent Secretary of the Moroccan Academy.
Al Dhaheri emphasized the deep-rooted and close fraternal ties between the nations, highlighting robust economic and trade relations progressing towards an advanced economic partnership. The seminar covered the fundamentals and achievements of UAE-Morocco relations, their geopolitical importance, and promising future. The seminar saw participation from government officials, diplomatic mission heads, academic experts, and media representatives.
