The 'Medical Innovations Patent Mitra: Innovators-to-Industry (I2I) Connect' event facilitates translating indigenous research into practical healthcare solutions.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has taken a monumental leap in advancing public health technology. On Monday, it transferred 41 critical health technologies to industry players for development, manufacturing, and commercialization.

This transfer includes cutting-edge diagnostics, innovative vaccines, and state-of-the-art medical devices addressing prioritized health needs. Technologies, such as glycoconjugate and recombinant vaccines for diseases like typhoid and diagnostic tools for ailments including Japanese encephalitis and tuberculosis, are part of this initiative.

The transfer event, 'Medical Innovations Patent Mitra: Innovators-to-Industry (I2I) Connect,' emphasized ICMR's dedication to bridging the gap between laboratory research and real-world healthcare impacts. Inaugurated by Union Ayush Minister Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, the event underscored India's potential to become a leader in providing affordable healthcare solutions, bolstered by robust industry collaborations.
