A liver cancer patient, Mushtaq Ali, was tragically found dead with a slit throat at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow on Monday morning. Initial reports suggest Ali, who had been receiving treatment for several months, was discovered by another patient's attendant.
Police revealed that Ali, aged 61 and a resident of Basti district, was experiencing financial difficulties. A blade was found at the scene. Authorities received information regarding the death early Monday morning, prompting an immediate investigation into the circumstances.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Amit Kumar Anand, confirmed that the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Investigations are ongoing to uncover the full details surrounding this disturbing event.
