In a surprise inspection on Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta exposed alarming deficiencies at Aruna Asaf Ali hospital, including significant medicine shortages and inadequate sanitation, a CMO statement revealed.
Gupta ordered hospital officials to guarantee medicine availability, improve sanitation, and upgrade facilities for the summer, stressing the need for immediate rectification.
The inspection also highlighted long patient queues, staff shortages, and flawed online systems, prompting directives for enhanced online-offline coordination and system modernization to ensure a patient-centric approach.
