According to Banerjee's post on X, the Kolkata Medical College and Hospital has been awarded the top spot, with SSKM Hospital coming in second place. She expressed her delight about this recognition, extending her heartiest congratulations to all associated with these institutions. Banerjee stressed that this accolade reaffirms her faith in the state's healthcare system.
The Chief Minister, currently in London, emphasized her belief that West Bengal boasts one of the country's best health infrastructures, and the recognition proves it as a model for others.
