Empowering Women Through Movement: The Nimaaya GR8 Run 2025

Surat, Gujarat saw a remarkable display of women's empowerment and health awareness through the 'Nimaaya GR8 Run 2025,' organized by Nimaaya Women's Centre for Health. On International Women's Day, more than 2,500 women participated to prioritize their health and promote awareness of traffic rules.
Pooja Nadkarni Singh, Director of Nimaaya Women's Centre, highlighted the importance of the annual event in combating the neglect women often show towards their health due to hectic lifestyles. This year's run took place on March 9 with significant volunteer support.
The event started at the Kankuba Party Plot on VIP Road and was inaugurated by notable figures including Ms. Pooja Nadkarni Singh, DCP (Traffic) Amita Vanani, and DCP (Special Branch) Hetal Patel, aiming also to spread a message of empowerment among women.
