Blinkit has taken a significant step in the realm of emergency medical services by launching a pioneering 10-minute ambulance service in selected areas of Gurugram. This innovative initiative aims to revolutionize the way emergency care is accessed in urban locales.
According to a statement from the company, users will be able to conveniently call for an ambulance through the Blinkit app. The ambulances are equipped comprehensively with essential life-saving gear, including oxygen cylinders, an automated external defibrillator, and essential medications.
Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, announced plans to scale this service to all major cities within the coming two years, emphasizing that profitability is not the main objective but ensuring affordability and efficiency in emergency responses is the primary focus.
