The integration of Manyata standards from the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) into the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) certification program marks a strategic move to enhance maternal healthcare across India.

The collaboration follows an agreement made in 2022 aimed at improving maternity services and supporting the Indian government's 'One Nation One Standard' initiative. A pilot program demonstrated consistent success in certification for facilities adhering to Manyata's guidelines.

This step not only strengthens the NABH accreditation framework but sets a benchmark for standardized maternal care, aligning with global WHO standards and ultimately contributing to Universal Health Coverage goals.
