The alleged negligence of medical staff at a community health centre in Bahraich has led to the tragic death of 21-year-old civil services aspirant Priyanshu alias Ankit Jaiswal, prompting a magisterial inquiry. The responding district administration has taken immediate action, suspending the CHC superintendent amid growing concerns.

On November 2, after Priyanshu's health declined at home, he was taken to the Payagpur CHC but was later referred to a medical college, where he unfortunately died en route. Family members claim his condition deteriorated further due to mishandling by medical staff and alleged inappropriate advice from an unidentified female attendant at the CHC.

A delegation from the Samajwadi Party plans to meet the bereaved family. This political move follows allegations of civil mismanagement, highlighting potential systemic issues at the Bahraich health centre. Investigations remain underway, with a report submission imminent to determine any further judicial or police actions.
