On World Stroke Day, Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh announced a groundbreaking partnership to enhance stroke care. Collaborating with Christian Medical College Ludhiana and India Medtronic Private Limited, this public-private initiative seeks to combat the rising incidence of strokes in Punjab with a new care model.

This unique partnership highlights the Punjab Government's dedication to healthcare advancement. With CMC Ludhiana as the central hub, the initiative will link government hospitals across the state to implement a hub-and-spoke model, allowing for rapid patient care and advanced treatments.

Dr. Jeyaraj D. Pandian emphasized the financial accessibility this brings, offering essential treatments at no cost.
