Pro-Palestinian activists have turned their focus to Allianz, a prominent German financial services company, by targeting its UK offices with red paint. This action was undertaken in protest of Allianz's alleged association with Israeli defense firm Elbit Systems, according to Palestine Action.
The organization claimed responsibility via social media, disclosing that demonstrators vandalized 10 Allianz offices across the UK and have maintained an occupation of the company's UK headquarters in Guildford since Tuesday night.
This protest arrives during the first anniversary of the Gaza war, a conflict marked by significant loss of life and ongoing tensions. Police have cordoned off Allianz's office in London following the vandalism.
