Manipal Hospitals has made headlines by hosting 'Mission 3K – 3000 Hearts, One Beat,' a landmark event that shattered a Guinness World Record. The initiative notably involved a relay of CPR performances, drawing participation from 3,319 individuals, a significant leap from the earlier record of 2,619.

The event's format required each participant to perform 60 compressions, with less than a five-second transition, showcasing the significance of timing and collective effort. Held at Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road, the relay unfolded continuously over 24 hours.

A crucial aspect of this achievement was the collaboration with over 30 nursing colleges across Bengaluru. Hospital staff, including nurses and paramedics, were pivotal in supporting this ambitious undertaking, underscoring the importance of meticulous planning and teamwork.
