Health Department Launches Swachhata Campaign 4.0

The Department of Health Research will participate in Swachhata Campaign 4.0 from October 2 to 31, aiming to institutionalize cleanliness and reduce pendency. This initiative involves the ICMR headquarters and 27 of its institutes. Targets have been identified and efforts towards achieving them will be monitored regularly.

The Department of Health Research is set to participate in the special Swachhata Campaign 4.0, scheduled from October 2 to 31. This initiative aims to institutionalize cleanliness and minimize pendency within the department, ICMR headquarters, and its 27 institutes nationwide.

A memorandum regarding this campaign was issued on September 20. The preparatory phase, which took place from September 16-30, has already been completed, with identified targets ready for the implementation phase commencing on October 2, according to a statement from the Union Health Ministry.

"During the Special Campaign 4.0, dedicated efforts will be made to achieve the targets set during the preparatory phase and to ensure the saturation of Swachhata across all offices related to the Department of Health Research," the statement detailed.The campaign also focuses on improving office cleanliness, clearing pendency of MP references, state government references, and ensuring adherence to record management systems. The progress and implementation of this campaign will be supervised regularly by DHR Joint Secretary Richa Khoda, who is the nodal officer for the initiative.
