Tragic Wasp Attack Claims Lives of Father and Son in Uttarakhand

In a tragic incident that unfolded in Uttarakhand's Tehri district, a man and his young son were fatally stung by a swarm of wasps. The attack took place while the duo was grazing their livestock in the Mussoorie forest division.
The victims, identified as Sundar Lal, 47, and his 8-year-old son Abhishek, were severely injured by the wasp stings. Villagers promptly transported them to Mussoorie hospital, where initial treatment was administered.
Despite medical efforts, Abhishek's condition worsened, leading to his death late Sunday night. Sundar Lal, who was his family's sole breadwinner, also succumbed to his injuries on Monday morning. Authorities have announced compensation for the bereaved family.
