An HCLTech employee named Nitin Edwin Michael succumbed to a cardiac arrest at the company's Nagpur office. The incident occurred when Michael, 40, was found unresponsive in the office washroom around 7 PM on Friday.

His colleagues quickly transported him to AIIMS, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival, according to an official from the Sonegaon police station. The police have sent his body for a post-mortem and registered a case of accidental death.

Preliminary autopsy results confirmed that Michael died of cardiac arrest. HCLTech expressed condolences and stated they provided emergency care on-site before rushing him to the hospital. The company is supporting Michael's bereaved family, emphasizing their commitment to employee healthcare programs.
