Punjab CM Discharged after Leptospirosis Diagnosis
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was discharged from Fortis Hospital after being diagnosed with leptospirosis. Key political figures visited him for health inquiries. Despite his health, Mann has called for a meeting on paddy procurement. His condition has improved significantly according to doctors.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, recently diagnosed with the bacterial infection leptospirosis, was discharged from Mohali's Fortis Hospital on Sunday, sources reported.
Earlier, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, and Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, along with Congress MLA Pargat Singh, visited Mann in the hospital to check on his condition.
Despite his illness, the chief minister has scheduled a meeting for Sunday evening to review paddy procurement arrangements. The meeting will be held at his official residence at 5 pm, sources added.
Admitted late Wednesday, the 50-year-old AAP leader was diagnosed Saturday with leptospirosis. Fortis Hospital's Director of Cardiology, Dr. R K Jaswal, stated that Mann showed significant improvement in his clinical parameters and responded well to treatment for increased pulmonary artery pressure, which had caused irregular blood pressure.
