Raipur, Chhattisgarh—The BALCO Medical Centre, part of the Vedanta Medical Research Foundation, wrapped up the second edition of the BMC Chhattisgarh Cancer Conclave today. Held from September 20 to 22, the event gathered international and national oncology leaders to address pressing cancer care challenges.
Centered on the theme 'Common Sense Oncology (CSO) for outcomes that matter,' the conclave focused on delivering pragmatic and patient-centric cancer care, especially in low-middle income countries (LMICs). Experts from London, Canada, New Zealand, Israel, the USA, and Spain, along with top Indian oncologists, shared valuable insights and strategies.
Mrs. Jyoti Agarwal, Chairperson of Vedanta Medical Research Foundation, emphasized the importance of collaboration for better patient outcomes. Dr. Enrique Soto from the University of Colorado Cancer Center and Dr. Bhawna Sirohi from BALCO Medical Centre underscored the need for cost-effective, quality care accessible to all.
