Ganjam District Leads Odisha in TB Patient Adoption under PM TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

Ganjam district in Odisha has emerged as the frontrunner in the state for adopting tuberculosis (TB) patients under the 'Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan', according to local health officials.
The district's health administration honored several Ni-kshay Mitra (donors) during a Tuesday meeting, spotlighting the collective effort of 540 individuals and organizations that have adopted all 3,779 TB patients in the district.
The scheme, launched in September 2022, aims to eradicate TB in India by providing free dietary and nutritional support to patients. Chief District Medical Officer SK Padhy highlighted the program's success and urged more people to participate.
