A delegation of junior doctors convened at West Bengal's state secretariat, Nabanna, to engage in crucial negotiations with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, aiming to resolve the RG Kar hospital deadlock.
The group, escorted by a pilot police vehicle, arrived 25 minutes after the scheduled start time, with 30 attendees instead of the 15 mandated by state authorities.
Prior to leaving Swasthya Bhavan, the headquarters of the health department, the doctors emphasized their demand for a live stream of the discussions. This request had been previously denied by the state chief secretary in the latest meeting invitation.
