Bangalore, Karnataka, India – Campus Fund has announced its investment in Human Biogenesis, a pioneering biotech startup that is developing an innovative semen detection kit. This nascent funding round will enable Human Biogenesis to launch its revolutionary product into the market.

Human Biogenesis, founded by Debabrata Mandal and Sachitanand K. Roy, biotechnology graduates from SRM University Chennai, is creating a semen detection kit that can confirm pregnancy risk within 15 minutes, up to 72 hours after intercourse. This non-invasive test empowers women to make informed decisions regarding emergency contraceptive pills (ECPs) and has significant implications for forensic science in sexual assault cases.

Debabrata Mandal emphasized their commitment to enhancing women's reproductive health. With support from Campus Fund, Human Biogenesis is set to complete clinical trials, seek patents, and prepare for market entry. Their product aims to fill a critical gap in women's health and wellness, potentially transforming the contraceptive landscape globally.
