Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav announced the establishment of 10 new AYUSH institutes over the next five years to expand the traditional medical system in India. His comments came during an event at the All-India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA).

The minister inspected the AIIA campus, reviewing the facilities and treatments available, according to a statement from the Ayush ministry. During his address, Jadhav reiterated the government's commitment to bringing Ayurveda into every household, highlighting that India's traditional medical systems suffered during the colonial period and foreign invasions. However, public perception towards Yoga and Ayurveda is improving globally.

Jadhav also noted that the President of India has shown interest in visiting the institute, prompting him to review the preparations. Director of the Institute, Professor Tanuja Nesari, expressed gratitude towards the minister for his continuous support and leadership in promoting Ayurveda.
