Policybazaar for Business has partnered with Paramount Health TPA and insurance companies to launch a 15-minute Express Discharge service, addressing the long-standing issue of hospital discharge wait times for insured patients.

Traditionally, after patients receive discharge approval from doctors, bureaucracy and paperwork delays extend the wait time to 5-6 hours. The new service aims to reduce this time to just 15 minutes.

Policybazaar's Director, Sajja Praveen Chowdary, emphasized the importance of seamless processes for employee wellness, hoping the initiative will set a new standard in the insurance industry. Paramount Health COO, Atman Shah, noted the service's potential to reduce emotional stress during critical times.
