Rabid Dog Attack Injures 12 in Poonch
In Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, a rabid dog attacked 12 people, including school children and women. The incident occurred between 8 am and 8.30 am in Mendhar town. Three individuals suffered serious injuries and are under observation at the hospital. Local residents killed the dog after it attempted to enter a school.

In a shocking incident in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, 12 individuals, including school children and women, were injured by a rabid dog on Tuesday. Officials confirmed that the attack took place in Mendhar town between 8 am and 8.30 am.
Among the injured were several migrant laborers. According to a doctor at the sub-district hospital, three people sustained serious injuries and have been admitted for observation. All victims have received anti-rabies vaccinations.
The dog was killed by local residents when it tried to enter a school after the initial attack, officials noted.
