Diarrhoea Outbreak Claims Seven Lives in Madhya Pradesh
In Madhya Pradesh's Mandla district, a diarrhoea outbreak has claimed seven lives, including five women and a child, and has left 150 people ill. Contaminated food and water are mostly to blame. Health officials are working on controlling the spread while raising awareness.

In the past ten days, seven individuals, including five women and a child, have succumbed to diarrhoea and water-borne diseases in Madhya Pradesh's tribal-dominated Mandla district, according to local authorities.
District Epidemic Control Officer Dr. Yatindra Jharia reported that the deaths occurred in Devraha Bahmani village of Ghughri block and Madhopur village under Bichhia block.
Approximately 150 individuals have fallen ill due to diarrhoea, primarily caused by contaminated food and water. Some patients have been transferred to the district hospital.
