The Gautam Buddh Nagar administration has enforced a ban on 14 Ayurvedic medicines produced by Divya Pharmacy and Patanjali Ayurveda Limited. This decision follows an earlier directive by the Uttarakhand State Licensing Authority, which had suspended the manufacturing licenses for these products on April 15.

On July 9, the Supreme Court instructed Patanjali Ayurved Ltd, established by yoga guru Ramdev, to submit an affidavit clarifying if they have ceased advertising the 14 products in question. These products include Swasari Gold, Bronchom, Mukta Vati Extra Power, and Patanjali Drishti Eye Drop, among others.

Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Kem, the Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer of Gautam Buddh Nagar, confirmed that all medical practitioners and stores in the district were notified to stop the sale of these products. Failure to adhere to this ban will result in legal action.
