Six Taliban terrorists killed in Helmand province of Afghanistan

At least six Taliban terrorists have been killed as a result of a clash with the Afghan National Police (ANP) in Helmand province of Afghanistan. The clash left the three other Taliban members wounded.
The Ministry of Interior Affairs of Afghanistan said in a statement that the clash took place while a group of Taliban terrorists attacked Afghan National Police (ANP) check posts in Shimlan region, Garmsir District of Helmand.
The ANP seized one AK-47 rifle and some amount of military equipment from the scene.
The Taliban has not made any comment about the incident yet.
Helmand is among the insecure provinces in southern Afghanistan where the Taliban insurgents are operating in a number of its districts.
