Ukraine Set to Restore Key Druzhba Oil Pipeline with EU Support

In a significant development, Ukraine has agreed to the European Union's proposal for technical and financial support to recommence oil flow through the damaged Druzhba pipeline, serving Hungary and Slovakia.
EU Council President Antonio Costa announced the collaboration on Tuesday, marking a pivotal step in restoring critical infrastructure.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy indicated that repair operations are approaching completion, estimating that the pipeline's pumping station will be back online within 1.5 months, according to a letter addressed to the European Commission.
