On Thursday, Union Minister Savitri Thakur met with a European Union delegation to discuss essential topics such as women's rights, gender equality, child protection, and inclusive development.
The Minister of State for Women and Child Development highlighted India's ongoing initiatives to bolster the safety, nutrition, education, and empowerment of women and children.
Leading the 17-member FEMM Committee, Lina Gálvez underscored the importance of collaboration in fostering mutual understanding and opening new avenues of cooperation for a more equal and inclusive society, Thakur mentioned.
