Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk noted that this marks the second large-scale assault in a month, highlighting a consistent campaign by Russia aimed at crippling Ukraine's energy sector as winter looms. Repair teams have become targets, complicating recovery efforts.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that 405 drones and 28 missiles were launched, of which 333 drones and 16 missiles were intercepted. The relentless attacks also sparked fires in several districts, including one near the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra monastery, a site of cultural significance.
