In the wake of a tragic truck accident in Indore, authorities have filed additional charges against the truck driver and cleaner, identified as Gulsher and Shankar. The charges include negligent driving and obstructing government work, following their involvement in a chaotic crash that claimed three lives and injured 12 on Kalani Nagar Road.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotiya has confirmed the continued police custody of the accused till September 21. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to gather further documentation on the truck, with previous charges against the driver also being examined. The investigation aims to uncover the role of the truck owner in the incident.

In response to the tragedy, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Indore, offering financial assistance to the victims and promising state-funded medical treatment for the injured. The CM announced disciplinary action, including the transfer and suspension of several police officials, as part of preliminary measures following the incident.
