Influencer Kirti Patel Arrested in High-Profile Honey-Trapping Case

Gujarat Police have arrested Instagram influencer Kirti Patel for allegedly honey-trapping a builder. Patel, who had been evading arrest for 10 months, demanded a Rs 2 crore ransom. Her arrest comes after an FIR was filed. Four other accused in the case have already been apprehended.

In a significant breakthrough, Gujarat Police apprehended Kirti Patel, a social media influencer with over a million followers on Instagram. Patel had been on the run for more than 10 months, wanted in connection to a high-profile honey-trapping case involving a builder.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone-1, Surat, Alok Kumar, confirmed that an FIR was lodged in June 2024, implicating Patel and five others in the scandal. While four accused were arrested earlier, Patel evaded capture until now. Police took action on a warrant issued by the court, culminating in her recent arrest.
