In a swift move, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's inspection of Pitampura led to the removal of posters and banners from Metro pillars and the reconstruction of roads within just three days. The inspection on March 26 involved authorities from PWD, Jal Board, and MCD, who were instructed to maintain infrastructure like roads, sewers, and drains.

Observing the state of Metro pillars covered in banners, Chief Minister Gupta underlined the importance of protecting public property, stating, "Nobody has the right to damage government property. We must ensure that Delhi remains beautiful and clean." Her orders prompted immediate action to clear these areas of unauthorized materials, marking a significant step towards urban aesthetics.

Foundation stones were laid for several sewer and drain projects during the inspection, highlighting an ongoing commitment to infrastructural improvement. Gupta's frequent inspections recalibrate Delhi's development approach, with her leadership contrasting sharply against what she called excessive spending by others. Her recent presentation of a historic budget aims at transforming Delhi into a developed city, prioritizing education, transport, and urban development.
