In a grand celebration of the Telugu Desam Party's 43rd Foundation Day, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu hoisted the party's flag in Amaravati on Saturday. Addressing a gathering of over 60,000 TDP leaders and activists, Naidu lauded the party's legacy, stating it has left an indelible mark in the hearts of the people. He emphasized that while various communities celebrate distinct festivals, TDP Formation Day unites all under one banner.
The Chief Minister underlined the profound impact of the party's founder, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), in shaping TDP into a symbol of self-respect and development. In a heartfelt message, Naidu referred to TDP as the 'heartbeat of Telugu people,' appreciating its deep roots in Telugu identity and citing its enduring popularity and trust over four decades.
Naidu lauded the activists' unwavering dedication, crediting their commitment and sacrifices for the party's success. He extolled TDP's contributions to welfare and development, particularly its efforts in uplifting women and supporting farmers. Naidu concluded with a salute to the TDP flag, asserting the party's unmatched influence in transforming the lives of Telugu people. 'Jai Telugu Desam... Johar NTR!' he declared.
