However, the operation hasn't come without sacrifice. The Rising Star Corps reported the tragic loss of a JK police officer during the confrontation with terrorists. In a tribute filled with respect, the army hailed the officer's valiant spirit and supreme sacrifice in fulfilling his duty.
The volatile situation in Kathua remains tense as security forces continue their anti-terror measures.
