Nation Pays Tribute to Veteran Leader Debendra Pradhan

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Manjhi came together to honor the late Union Minister Debendra Pradhan. The tribute, marking Pradhan's 'ekadasha', was held at his residence in Talcher, where Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan joined in paying respects.
Pradhan, the father of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, passed away at 84. Having served as a member of the 12th and 13th Lok Sabha representing Deogarh in Odisha, his contributions to Indian politics were notable. The Lok Sabha honored him with a moment of silence and remembered his significant impact as a leader and social worker.
Expressing profound condolences, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had previously paid his respects, highlighting Pradhan's role in the Bharatiya Janata Party's growth in Odisha. The former state BJP President and Union Minister was a pivotal figure, and his last rites were conducted with full solemnity at Puri Swargadwar.
