Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has lauded the transformative progress witnessed in Mirzapur district over the past decade, attributing it to the double-engine governance model. Speaking at a district-level event on service, security, and good governance, Adityanath emphasized the strategic importance of the Maa Vindhyavasini corridor in boosting local revenue.
During the event, he noted that the Maa Vindhyavasini project had brought about a fivefold revenue increase in just one year. Mirzapur's development owes much to timely completion of key projects, including the Bansagar project and Maa Vindhyavasini temple enhancements. These efforts have also alleviated the pressures brought by events like Prayagraj's Mahakumbh.
CM Yogi also underscored the role of faith in economic progress during a public meeting that showcased his government's achievements. The Maa Vindhyavasini corridor has attracted numerous visitors, contributing to the area's growth. Adityanath further highlighted the Ganga Expressway project as vital for connecting significant religious sites and bolstering economic activity.
