Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underscored the significant role of faith in fostering economic growth during a public address at an exhibition highlighting his government's achievements over the past eight years. He discussed the development of religious corridors, noting Maa Vindhyavasini's corridor as a major attraction drawing numerous visitors and fueling regional growth.
Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi remarked, "Faith can become the basis of economic growth." He praised the Maha Kumbh's role in this transformation, adding that post-development of Maa Vindhyavasini's corridor, countless devotees visited, boosting the local economy. He also announced plans to link Maa Vindhyavasini Dham to Baba Vishwanath Dham via the Ganga Expressway, emphasizing its potential economic impact.
The Chief Minister described the Ganga Expressway as India's largest, poised to connect crucial spiritual sites and enhance regional infrastructure, thereby driving economic advancement. He detailed ongoing projects, including the construction of a medical college in Mirzapur, and encouraged continued public support for good governance to ensure the state's ongoing development.
