In a heated address, Maharashtra Minister and Shiv Sena leader Shambhuraj Desai severely criticized stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra over a new parody song targeting Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Desai asserted that Kamra has overstepped boundaries, demanding immediate repercussions for his persistent criticisms of significant figures like Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Supreme Court.

Desai's indignation was palpable as he declared it was time to deliver 'Prasad' to Kamra, warning that patience within Shiv Sena was running thin. He referenced prior incidents of Shiv Sainiks directly confronting Kamra, suggesting imminent action if the comedian does not desist from such provocation.

Moreover, Desai announced that Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has committed to taking legal action against Kamra. He challenged Kamra to confront the Shiv Sena and face the consequences, with police involvement ensuring the comedian's accountability. Kamra, seemingly unperturbed, released his controversial video targeting the BJP, leading to another police summons.
